"Hard to Say Goodbye" is the title of the cover story on Favre's retirement from the NFL last week. The issue is on the newsstand this week.
Packer fans have been flocking in droves to stores, snapping up copies of the SI Tribute issue that isn't available to subscribers.
It’s the
ninth time Favre has appeared on the magazine's cover, and the third time since
December.
Sports Illustrated is also producing a book on the quarterback's career that is already being sold through online bookstores (see ad on the right of this page).
